NEW from Frédéric Malle: Coffret Collections
Twelve years ago, Frédéric Malle asked the most gifted perfumers in the industry to create their dream perfumes. Those many collaborations gave way to a collection of 18 fragrances. 18 perfumes which are now available for the holiday season in three Coffret Collections. While Frédéric believes that an essential part of the fragrance selection process is through the sales staff and âsmelling columnsâ found within each Editions de Parfums boutique, he also likes the exciting and luxurious idea of being able to offer oneself âthe entire store.â For this reason, he imagined the three coffrets: the complete collection, the womenâs collection and the menâs collection.
âA fragrance is a chronological composition that evolves with time,â says Malle. âThe top notes function for about 15 minutes, then leave way to the heart of the perfume, which is its real personality. Some fragrances also change from one skin to the other. These Coffret collections allow the most curious individuals to try each perfume at their own pace and to maybe adopt the one perfume he or she would never have thought of.â
