iKOU Native Clay & Hot Oil Massage a transformation at Park Hyatt Sydney Spa

iKOU Native Clay & Hot Oil Massage a transformation at Park Hyatt Sydney Spa

This is a 90 minute massage where you really want to be awake so you can remember why you need to come back. Coming from a beauty therapy background I totally understand that being a massage therapist is not just a spa job, it requires such a commitment both physically and mentally, the passion to heal someone of the stress within their body and in their mind is a real calling. Expert massage therapists have this incredible sense of touch, they can sense when their clients let go so that the energy flows both ways giving and receiving the gift of massage. Louisa Lin Massage Therapist at the Park Hyatt Sydney Spa has one of the finest touches in massage that I have experienced, the last massage I experienced was at the hands of a brute at an international spa in Abu Dhabi, I was put off massage.iKOU Native Clay & Hot Oil Massage The Native Clay and Hot Oil Massage is a 90 minute treatment, this therapy offers an ultimate transformation for your body and mind. Using the iKOU Native Clay which is prepared into a ring  and the Hot Australian Native therapeutic oil, which was poured into a ring of native clay. The actual ring of clay is placed on the lower back to release tension from the sacrum, spine and hips, then for around 15 minutes the warm oil is scooped in and out of the clay ring, as the heat progresses across the lower back the tension disappear and the heat moves deep into the lower back and up through the body.
What a view at the Park Hyatt Sydney roof top poolAfter 15 minutes the ring is removed and the oil is massaged over the body focusing on the back, neck and shoulders. Massage therapy improves circulation by bringing oxygen and other nutrients to body tissues. It relieves muscle tension and pain, increases flexibility and mobility, and helps clear lactic acid and other waste, which reduces pain and stiffness in muscles and joints. In the Native Clay and Hot Oil Massage Swedish Massage techniques are specifically used as a relaxation technique. Long strokes, kneading, tapping, friction, and vibration are the main styles of movements are used to increase circulation and flexibility, soothe tense muscles, and de-stress.   Louisa also incorporated some Remedial massage techniques as some back muscles were knotted and tense, remedial massage provides a healing treatment that can be gentle or strong, deep or shallow. Remedial massage holistically treats the body.

Louisa Lin Massage Therapist at the Park Hyatt Sydney Spa The stand out skill that Louise has is that her massage pressure is firm and comfortable, and this alone is what I personally need as she can offer remedial massage her pressure can vary to suit needs. An iKOU scalp massage completes this restorative journey you sleep so well when your body is allowed to take time to restore, being at a computer all day or working in a stressful environment can only be improved with massage and the iKOU Native Clay and Hot Oil Massage restores the body and mind at the Park Hyatt SpaSydney.
