Tom Ford paints the town in limited shimmery metallic

Tom Ford has released two new shimmery metallic for nails: Minx, a complex metallic warm wine-brown, and Dominatrix, a medium-deep but bright metallic purple ($30 each, both limited-edition). This extra-amplified, gloss and shine nail lacquer, lets you express your mood and complete your look. Its groundbreaking, high-performance formula with bendable coating delivers high coverage and shine while staying color true throughout wear. The new polishes for fall are exquisite with excellent smooth coverage. The colors are edgy and dramatic but still wearable for every day. They are perfect for fall and unique compared to other releases we’ve seen this season.

Both shades are highly metallic and shimmery, not in a gaudy way. The texture is sheer and transparent with a one coat application, but the color goes on with full coverage with the second coat.  Minx is a deep burgundy-wine-brown metallic. It has more brown and less wine compared to other vampy shades. Dominatrix is an intense medium bright purple. U.S. Launch Date â€" 27 September 2012 for Traceless Foundation Stick /30 September 2012 for Ultra Shine Lipgloss, Eye Defining Pencil, Eye Creme Color,Lip&Cheek Stain Color, Eye Color Quad, Cheek Color and 13 October 2012 for Nail Lacquer, Lip Color.
