LancÃ´me was launched in 1935 as a perfume house, but the Parisian beauty giant LancÃ´me has since become the industry's authority on mascara. It has launched a mind-boggling 24 different mascaras since its first creation, LancÃ´matique, in 1967. The reason for this array of choice is that LancÃ´me conducted an exhaustive study of women's mascara habits it discovered that their needs varied, depending on the length, volume and the thickness of their lashes.
